Interesting to see how many people are trying out new ways to do conferences and training now that it looks like we will be in this “new economy” for a few months longer. Business people need new tech skills today.
I just saw Viveka von Rosen trying out a Zoom + restream.io meeting setup. Others are popping up on my LinkedIn and Facebook channels all day long.
Even as various states and cities begin to open up and allow businesses to get back to work, I believe it will take a long time before conferences and large meetings take place again. What are your thoughts on that?
- What digital tools are you learning to use now that you have not used before?
- How often a day are you using video tools for meetings?
- Are you doing online conferences or attending conferences online that were planned for in-person events?

I started using a couple new tools to help with my video production and promotion work in the past month or two. I use ManyCam.com for video. This gives me the tools I need for recording video or living streaming to multiple sites at once. It includes lowers-thirds for titles, picture in picture and many other features.

I also found one of the tools that YouTube producers are using for making those video thumbnails that POP the look of their videos. I use TubeBuddy.com for those. Besides the thumbnails there are lots of stats and other useful features.
